2008: I still prefer the Palm iQue 3600 even though if is outdated. [Due to ease of accessing data on PC and unit.]

Garmin M4 is good with preloaded maps.  Search for best price on the net! Best Price

PS: Always purchase a car adapter that charges your GPS and amplifies voice directions that you can hear while you are driving.

The iQue 3600 GPS Palm PDA moved to the Microsoft - iQue M4 -  M3 - M5 PDA instead of a Palm based system. in late 2005.Check prices at Garmin.com The M4 that comes with preloaded maps and Windows software.

I use this GPS and am very satisfied with it.
